THE DIVINE HISTORY OF JESUS CHRIST
THE ESSENIAN ORIGIN OF JOHN THE BAPTIST

The Death of Zechariah
Let us keep in mind that the Death Sentence against Jesus and the Jewish
anti-Christian persecutions created a reputation for the Jews as murderers of
their own brothers for religious dissension, a fact that until 66 was
intrinsically forbidden by the laws of Roman Law. The Pax Romana imposed its
empire on the pillar of religious freedom. It is true that the official
religion of Rome was financed by Rome, but no other measure against other
religions was in force and every other measure in favor of the Roman religion
had been repealed. It was in this historical context that the Jews opened their
anti-Christian persecutions of extermination of the followers of Jesus within
their own territory. Unfortunately for them the anti-Christian terrorism
practiced by the murderers of St. Stephen, James the Greater and James the
Less, marking these three deaths the three murderous persecutions of
extermination executed by the authors and children of those who called for the
Death Sentence of the Master, and the consequent strategy of anti-Christian
propaganda at the international level, not only did not result to the Jews in
their favor but ended up turning against them and were massacred, their land
ravaged and the survivors banished from their properties.
As a result of this situation and forged in the most criminal hatred
against Christianity, in turn a traitor to his own, Flavius Josephus would
write his History of the Antiquities and the Wars of the Jews. In his books it
was natural that any reference that could lead the historians of the future to
the true History of Christ, his Origins and his Death, by logic I say, had to
be buried by manipulating the names of the actors and hiding the events behind
the circumstances of the kings of Israel from the Maccabees to the Herods. The day this same Flavius Josephus and his allies
of rebellion against Rome decided to set fire to the Archives of the Temple of
Jerusalem the purpose in mind was to erase from History any legal document by
which the Historicity of this Jesus Christ could be certified.
Traitor to his allies and brothers in blood and arms, and survivor of
the destruction of his nation, Flavius Josephus lived on his knees at the feet
of the Roman master, just like a dog, but a dog in whose veins the blood was
hatred and all that hatred concentrated towards a target: Christianity. In his
History look for any element about the existence of Zechariah and Elizabeth,
being as this Zechariah was a superimportant actor in
his days, which the apocrypha themselves collect, elevating him to the same
high priesthood, unreal but remarkable in relation to the existence of a fame
that remained in the memory of many, although relegated to the prison of
forbidden memories; to search in the Jewish Histories, I mean, any mention of
the son of Abijah, that same Abijah whose name, being a Jew of pure strain
Flavius Josephus manipulated and Hellenized him, remaining as Abtalion in his Jewish Wars; to search in this Antihistory
of the Jewish People a source of information for the reconstruction of the
pre-Messianic times, both Hasmonean and Herodian, is to make an exercise of
supreme idiocy. It is like going to look for the fruit of the Tree of Life at
the devil's table.
In the Divine History I abandoned the account of the Life of Zacharias and
Elizabeth and their son the Baptist in order to keep the thread around the Holy
Family. It is time to pick it up and reopen the chapter of the Murder of that
Zechariah about whose death, and the life of his firstborn and only begotten
son, John the Baptist, God, according to Jesus, would ask his people for an
account.
I said in the Second Part of the Divine History that the Temple of
Jerusalem had a 24-hour service, and each hour corresponded to one of the
twenty-four priestly families, from which the high priest was then chosen. One
of these hours was held by the father of Zechariah, the Abijah whose name was
corrupted by his Hellenization by the Jewish Judas, Flavius Josephus, and
Antichrist par excellence in the eyes of John the Evangelist. It is to this
Hour that the Gospel refers when it speaks of the Temple Shifts. Zechariah
inherited this Hour from his father. Obviously this Hour said it all about the
importance of the worshipper in the hierarchical structure of the Temple.
A miniature Vatican State, these 24 Priests of the 24 Temple Shifts were
the 24 heads of the 24 Ministries upon which the Templar Bureaucracy was based.
Birth Registration, Sin Taxes, Sale of Animals and Birds for the Sacrifice of
Atonement, Tithe Collection at national and international level ... in short, a
State within the Jewish State. As a general rule, this Worship Shift was
inherited from fathers to sons and only in case of not having descendants, the
Shift passed to another priestly family. Sometimes it was sold to the highest
bidder. The case of Zechariah, the heir of Abijah, was just that. But his
assassination did not come from the need to remove the priest in order to share
his position by reason of the election, always disposed to the corruption of
the electors.
Let us also say that Zechariah's father was one of the few men of the
Temple that King Herod not only respected, but also exalted for his courage and
his fame as a prophet before his people. Under the shadow of this father and
the cover of his fame before the court of the king of the Jews, a Palestinian
to boot, Zechariah made his administrative career within the Templar
bureaucracy. Destined as he was by birth to occupy the head of one of the
ministries on which the Temple founded its material existence, Zechariah chose
the Genealogical and Historical Archives, on which the registry of Births
depended. The reason why the registry and not precisely another function is
understood from the Divine-History.
The search for the true and legitimate heir to the Crown of David became
the number one objective during the time between the end of the reign of the
Hasmoneans and the beginning of the reign of the Herods.
Zechariah vowed his life to discover the whereabouts of the Living Heir to the
Crown of Israel. The historical circumstances against him, Herod newly in
power, Zechariah played to perfection the trick of that prophet Daniel who with
one hand served the king of Babylon and with the other worked the ruin of his
kingdom. If you have read the Divine History you already know the marvelous
adventure of his saga, the Doctrine of the Alpha and the Omega, the discovery
of the two messianic houses and the Vow of Mary. All these things happened in
secret and no one violated her seal until an accidental event came to open it
and expose the antiherodian-prodavidical plot that
had been weaving against her Crown by her favorite among the priests, the son
of Abijah, naturally. This accidental chance event is called the Visitation of
the Magi.
In the apocryphal gospels, of which the protoevangelium is their
flagship, these Magi are treated as kings of India, Persia and Arabia. This
fact is enough to understand why the sages of the first centuries banished such
stories from the divine canon. That, however, as I have said, they collected
forbidden memories and played with them to build their own golden pyramid. In
the Second Part of the Divine History I have already discovered who those
characters really were. The fact is that, against their will, those Magi
discovered to the Herods the messianic plot that,
behind their backs, but in their shadow, had been woven. If at first Herod did
not want to believe that his favorite and protégé, the son of Abijah, was the
head of that plot as soon as the mystery of his muteness, his retirement and
his absence from the Temple without closing the question of the succession of
his Turn, was discovered, "because Elizabeth had given birth to a
son", Herod's resistance gave way.
It was the occasion that had been waiting for those who had wanted to buy
Zechariah's turn and had gotten nothing. Now they could finish with the
problem, to submit the succession to election and that the highest bidder took
the turn of Abijah. But if for these assassins in holy robes the uncovered plot
served them the sacred occasion to rise to the direction of the Temple,
becoming part of the Priestly Dome, for the interested party, Zechariah, father
of John, the question was to close the way that could lead the Beast to the
Holy Family: through the sacrifice of his own life. The blood of the Innocents
shed, the thirst of the Beast would be quenched.
In the desert lived in caves closed and isolated communities of peaceful
dissident Jews. Among those cavemen of Roman times Zechariah hid his wife and
child. Then he went to the Temple to continue with his turn as if nothing had
happened and knew nothing at all about the Magi, the star of Bethlehem ... For
they were looking for their lives, the sooner they finished, the better. And so
they did. They kicked him to death, they bit him to death, they clawed him to
death, they punched him to death. A pack of dogs that called themselves
servants of the Most High and hid the mark of the devil they served under
sacred robes adorned with silver bangs and anointed with gold dots, lifelong saints,
fathers of the people by divine inspiration, dogs on two legs threw themselves
on the Man of God and paid him for his services by beating him until his skull
burst, his ribs were shattered and embedded against his back, his legs and arms
were broken to the point of delirium and not even his mother could recognize
whose corpse was the one they had killed at the door of the Temple, "under
the gazilophacio".
The death of Zechariah, father of the Baptist and son of Abijah, closed
the ways that could have led the Herods to his son
John, and most importantly, to the Son of Joseph. This, warned about the
Slaughter of the Innocents and the murder of Zacharias, his mentor, took his
wife, his son, and together with Cleophas, the brother of his wife, and Mary of
Cleophas and their sons and daughters, emigrated to Egypt at that time in its
splendor under the rule of Octavian Caesar Augustus, patron of the so-called
Golden Age of the Roman Empire.

John the Baptist among the Essenes
The structure of the events surrounding the Birth of the Kingdom of God
leaves little room for intervention from the future in the determining events
of its Foundation. God having brought to an end the Era of his Empire, and
proclaimed the Unification of all the Crowns of the Universe in the Head of his
Only Begotten, from then on and for Eternity, the transcendence of Humanity in
this Chapter for Eternity is deduced from the place where this revolutionary
change of Era took place: The Earth. It was men who laid their lives at the
feet of this Divine Project, and when they had to surrender it, they did not
hesitate to put their necks on the tray. Before blood there is no doubt; doubt
is for subtle spirits, geniuses of emptiness, lovers of form. The human being
is something more than a creature of the abyss. And this is what will be
demonstrated in these Reflections.
I will leave for now the return to the issue of the Roman Nationality
"by right" of the Jews, which existed, as in the case of St. Paul, a
contemporary of Jesus if I remember correctly, although not a fellow countryman
in the sense of the small homeland, but of the race, etcetera; and instead of
asking ourselves when the Empire stripped itself of its Citizenship to clothe
its subjects with it, it would be more convenient to postulate why Octavian
Augustus did not extend this Universality, which comes from Law, when, having
studied his genius, it is clear from his works that this Universality could not
have escaped his thought, for what suits the Genius is not Vulgarity but the
break with the agonizing symphony of agglutinating and monolithic traditions,
against whose schizoid rhythm, translated into civil wars, Octavianus man faced
life and death, from which it should be understood that it would have been very
difficult for his Mind to have escaped the final benefits of a Revolutionary
Expansion of Human-Roman Law to all the peoples of the civilized world. A philo-ideological root from which would come to light the
Universal Registration Movement as a gateway to Roman Citizenship that,
proceeding from the Law, would tear down the wall between Romans and other
peoples of the Empire. Movement in whose framework we must see the Universal
Enrollment that forced Joseph, the father of Jesus, to move from Nazareth to
Bethlehem, but that we see surrounded by blood, as it could not be less, in
uprising of protest against the Attempt of the Roman to Brother all the peoples
in the Right, and it would be the definitive material proof that Octavian
needed to convince himself that in many aspects he had been born for a Future
that he would not know in flesh, because to live in the light of whose Right
the world was not much less prepared. So Octavian the Politician won the day over
Octavian the Man and in the face of the bloody Jewish response to his Attempt
to Export Roman Citizenship to all the Peoples of the Empire, Augustus adapted
himself to the facts and left for the Future the achievement of so great a
good.
There will be time, then, to return to the Judgment of Jesus and marvel
at the fact of his presence, no longer before the Sanhedrin but before the
Roman governor himself, when in the course of the Gospels themselves we see how
the Jews applied the death penalty right and left with total impunity. But not
crucifying "the dogs"; the Crucifixion was the electric chair of the
time, reserved for the Empire, but stoning in the public street the same to a
harlot, adulterous case of the Gospels, "let him who is without sin cast
the first stone", as to a saint (St. Sebastian for example). From where it
is deduced, from what is seen and what is known, that the Empire did not annul
the Patriotic Right of the Peoples, and left to the subject States the power
over life and death referred to internal causes.
Some historians have pretended to make us eat with car wheels from the
times of the Flintstones by affirming that the Jews were deprived of the power
over life and death. And this they tell us over the corpse of St. Sebastian and
that of that adulteress caught red-handed, who earned the very famous "I
do not condemn you, go and sin no more" from Jesus. If Jesus was not
stoned or sentenced to death by the Temple, when the Temple was stoning to
death all its enemies and sinners, and with total impunity, what was the reason
for this treatment of Jesus: against the Roman Law that forbade the Governor of
the Empire to interfere in internal affairs that did not touch Roman Citizens?
Was Jesus a Roman Citizen? And in fact the only crime for which an Imperial
Governor had to answer before Caesar was not limited to his criminal actions
against Roman Citizens?
Anyway, in this section we will jump from Jesus to John. The starting
question is important: Where did John the Baptist come from?
God could get Abraham's children out of the stones. However, no one will
take this saying literally. Not because God cannot turn stones into men, power
that confirms the reality when we see so many two-legged stone heads filling
the earth. And if it is because of the heart, which some have as hard as rocks
... Apart from this finding, the question stands out imperiously: Where did
John the Baptist come from? And who knew, and how did he know, and why did he
know that he who knew: That John was the son of that Elizabeth and that
Zacharias?
This point nailed to the table, it would be convenient to tie it by
affirming, or at least insinuating, that to draw the veil of the centuries and
penetrate into the sancta sanctorum of the Memory of God Himself, we have to
detach ourselves from the nature of our century. And what is true for us is
true for all times and places. We are born and formed in a certain environment,
and by logic the nature of that environment shapes the properties of our way of
seeing and understanding the world.
But this works while we are still children. The purpose of this
relationship between the subject and the world is to give birth in the being to
a free spirit, perfectly formed to abstract from its circumstances and to
contemplate the world, as an object, from the point of view of the subject who
observes reality as if he himself did not belong to it.
Referring to universal reality as an entity in itself, with its own
objective laws, and governed by its own judgments, the biohistorical legality of an alternative gaze is fostered in the individual himself,
determining the recreation of events whose memory moves in time in the manner
of shadows on a Chinese screen. Let's never forget that the highest wall
against which our intelligence is fighting is the wall formed by the books of
those who once called themselves "historians".
Either because they do not exist, or because those that do exist are
documents manipulated for specific purposes, whoever wants to recreate past
times must necessarily put on the table a method of reconstruction in whose
toolbox these "official" documents are just one more instrument, but
in no case the only valid one to open the door of the centuries and their
things. To forget that the actors of History had at their service those same
ones who wrote "History", and that those Historians were paid to tell
what they told, this forgetfulness is an unforgivable renunciation in the eyes
of a passionate and unwavering lover of Universal History, and although at the
feet of scientific historians:
"without docs there is no Recreation of the Past and this
Recreation must conform to those docs", one must affirm oneself in the
denial of their scientific method and declare it dementia to pretend to reach
the truth by following in the footsteps of those who devoted themselves to
conceal it. Flavius Josephus is not the only "historian" who loved
the truth above all things, and in the name of that love he took the Historical
Truth and crucified it.
So where did John come from, and why did he feed on honey and locusts
like the beasts? Being the son of that Zechariah, of the turn of Abijah, prince
of the Temple of Jerusalem, only son of his father, heir of his Turn: to what
was his withdrawal into the desert, his renunciation of his father's multicentennial inheritance due?
This is understood by affirming the Revelation of the Gospel, and
assuming its value as a historical document. But if the Gospel is a novel in
this case this question is fantasy and the discussion that follows is pure science
fiction.
The choice is up to each one. I was not there when the events happened
and I refer to the ink that was used to write this Doc: The blood.
For if in the blood is the life and the spirit is the life, the spirit
is in the blood. So weighing the value of some "scientific
historians" whose dementia congratulates itself in basing the recreation
of the Universal History in Docs, sacrificing the Truth in the origin of those
documents, in whose value they do not enter; against the value of the blood as "Historical
Doc" each one must emit his judgment.
Example.
If, referring the History of Henry VIII. to the Docs of British History,
that criminal was a saint, and among British historians, where is the one who
calls bread, bread, and wine, wine, treats that "saint" as a
criminal, and calls such a saint by his name: criminal? And a serial criminal,
the worst kind of two-legged beast, all the more monstrous his crime when in
his victory an entire nation renounced the most sacred thing, the critical
judgment of free intelligence.
Thus, when it comes to the study of history, we must guard, above all
and first of all, against "the historians". It is certainly
obligatory to refer to Flavius Josephus when traveling to the times of the Jews
of the Pre-Christian Age, but at the same time one must touch his books with
"iron gloves". And anyone who does not take his precautions will end
up throwing stones at "the Christian dogs".
This decision taken, namely: the Gospel is a Historical Doc, we pull
back the veil and look face to face the memory of those times when ...
Zechariah, son of Abijah, the "Abtalion" of
the last days of the Hasmoneans according to Flavius Josephus ... in the name
of whose character the manipulation of the same facts narrated by "the
historian" is evident from the incredible case he presents, by giving a
Greek name to a full-blooded Hebrew, a high priest to boot.
The son of Abijah-Abtalion, heir of one of the
24 turns of the Temple, married to Elizabeth, of the Aaronic lineage for the
greater glory of his heir, would be the father of our John. And it was this
same Zechariah who, lying under one of the gates of the Temple, we left in a
previous section. It is upon the death of this Zechariah, father of John the
Baptist, that Jesus issued through His mouth the judgment of God against the
murderers of His Servant, an octogenarian old man, when He said that "from
Abel to Zechariah..." Indeed. They killed him with their fists, with their
kicks, with their mouths?
How could they dare to kill an old man, prince of the Temple, at the
gates of the tomb already, anyway? Why, and specifically just a few days after
the Slaughter of the Innocents, had Zacharias not heard about what had happened
in Bethlehem of Judah?
It would be useless for me to stop to look for a Doc that could serve us
as proof when it comes to rooting the behavior of the characters of the Divine
History according to the movement that I recreate on the march of the memories
of their lives. Biohistory is to move the pieces in
such a way that once the game is played there is no mystery in the air, except
as a memory for those who did not know the course of events that gave the
victory to the Winner. And if for each step it were necessary to remember the
sequence in Time, the recreation would be a waste of time, in the same way that
interpreting a language to someone who does not even know the language on which
the translation is made is a waste of time. Thus had not Zacharias, the father
of John the Baptist and son of Abijah-Abtalion of the
Manipulated History of the Jews by Josephus, heard of the Slaughter of the
Innocents, and gone, like a lamb with a lost sense of smell, to creep, in his
ignorance, into the cave of the Herodian basilisk?
Truth admits of no digressions. Only the Lie is open to Doubt. Of course
Zacharias was aware of the Slaughter of the Innocents and, knowing that to
appear in the Temple would cost him his life, Zacharias made the decision that
would earn his name Glory for Eternity: To throw more meat to the dogs in order
to prevent hunger from keeping the Beast's sense of smell sharp, like a hungry
wolf seeking the Life of the Child who had just been born. That meat was to be
his own!
Let us bear in mind that to the coward the courage of the hero seems
born of madness, and to the despot the blood of revolution tastes like
rebellion, whence to base upon the judgment of such witnesses the nature of
historical events is simply to renounce that which differentiates man from the
beasts: the spirit of Truth. And not because it was Science that killed the
truth of Spirit should we admit as Natural that which is repugnant to
Intelligence. That is, whoever wishes to deal with another Being on a one to
one basis, must see the Person in the fullness of its ontological faculties,
and not mutating its properties for the sake of the times. This is a very
common phenomenon among historians, especially considering that among the
thousands of "professors" we can hardly find a few who were not at
the service of their Lords and Masters, and as mercenaries of the pen, to look
for more than one Procopius among them is, if not playing the blind man's game,
then playing the fool for the pleasure of playing the clown.
In the old days, the common man, recognized as vulgar for his
excellences, without knowing how to read and write, had to take the Nibelungadas of the emperors, kings and popes as if they
were the word of God, although they were dictated to us by mercenaries of the
pen, dogs faithful to their masters, and if not faithful, at least paid and
well eaten. Nowadays we have the opportunity to read for ourselves, to see with
our own eyes and to resort to the divine exercise of burning the barn in order
to find the needle without making a fool of ourselves for the happiness and
nirvana of their eminences, most excellent and divine crowned heads. Which is
not to say that the suicidal proverb of the ignorant being happier than he who
knows much is dead. It is to be believed that still, although not for long, we
will have to wait for the day of the burial.
Returning to our subject, the Death of Zacharias, father of John the
Baptist, let us say that, if to a coward the mind of a brave man is an enigma,
so much more unfathomable is that of a saint to a sinner of letters. Such hands
having been those that wiped their faults in the blood of such madmen, how can
we believe that it could have been otherwise than it has been! Recreated by
historians whose freedom was that of the dog with the golden collar, how could
the history of the days of Jesus have failed to be anything more than an
"anti-history". Now, the free man prefers to live in a cave than to
be a dog in a palace. Something that does not apply to "historians",
and with greater force to the British School.
Since Flavius Josephus, seeking the survival of his race stripped his
people of the natural spirit to the Patriarchs and Prophets, waiting for the
historians of the Gentiles to find in the corpse of the Jew the soul of the
Hebrew became a dilemma of nature that the Serpent posed to the other beasts of
Paradise: Will God condemn the sin of a single man to the whole world?
Josephus' answer was: Impossible. Paul's answer was: Of course. And since then
Jews and Christians have lived like cats and dogs. That being the case, the Jew
having stripped the Hebrew of his spirit, who will believe that Israel can see
God in Christ! And if he cannot see what is in his own flesh, how will he have
access to his memory?
Faced with the holiness of the Hebrew the Jew is in the same position as
the coward before the hero, he is unable to understand the root of his
movements. The Jew, not wanting to assume that God would condemn the whole
world for one man, was able to assume as necessary the death of one man so that
all his people would live, walking on whose path then were the lives of two,
later those of three, and following the same path the Jew threw himself into
the final solution that the famous Saul of Tarsus brought in his hand when he
fell off his horse, because Jesus came out of him according to the Christians,
because he was a coward according to the Jews. But back to the subject:
Zechariah, the father of the John in diapers, was perfectly aware of the
Slaughter of the Innocents when he decided to present himself at the Temple in
order to by the scandal of his death gain Joseph and Mary the necessary time to
pack up and emigrate to Egypt.
We see how, oblivious to the Slaughter, Joseph and Mary present
themselves in the Temple, and there they meet the other Star Protagonist of the
Second Part of the Divine History of Jesus, Simeon the Younger, son of Simeon
the Babylonian, the Semei of the history of Flavius
Josephus, the partner of the Abtalion.
For the Tradition remains the poor old man worshiping the Messiah. For
Joseph the words that that "old man" said in his ear: "Flee
Joseph, take the Son of David and go to Egypt, for it is written: Out of Egypt
I have called my son". The rest is written in the Divine History. In this
section we will touch on what I did not write there.
Of course Zechariah knew that he was facing his death penalty of leaving
the mountains of Judea where he lived and returning to Jerusalem after his
period of muteness, precisely when the aspirants to enter the Temple of the 24
princes who ruled the Theocratic State of Jerusalem were already dividing their
Turn. Zechariah knew that the scandal of his murder by the Temple dogs would
force their masters to control them, lock them up and keep them quiet for a
while, the time Joseph needed to take the Child and leave Israel.
But before sacrificing himself, Zechariah made arrangements to save the
life of his son, the one who had been born to make the Voice heard in the
wilderness. How could they not murder his son John once the news of his birth
reached Jerusalem and entered the ear of the Herods!
A child born in the manner of Isaac, to parents older than Methuselah? A
Messiah, of course!
This is the true origin of John the
Baptist.
Zechariah commands his wife to take their child and bring him to the
caves of the Essenes, at the Dead Sea. Without name, as one who has saved his
grandson from some slaughter, or as one who saves the son of a daughter caught
in adultery and killed with stones, she who was by lineage sister of Mary, the
sister of Moses, and by family was sister of the mother of Mary, Mother of
Jesus, that Elizabeth, born a princess in the bosom of the Aaronite clans of
Jerusalem, cultured as only she, obeys her husband, because she knows perfectly
where her husband, Zechariah, goes, she takes off all her lady's clothes, takes
her newborn son, six months old, seven at the most, and hides in the shadows of
one of the caves where those Essene communities of the times of Herod and his
sons lived. If any of those cave dwellers had ever met the wife of Zechariah,
the son of Abijah, in other times, after the miraculous birth of their John, no
one would have been able to say that that woman was the same one he knew. The
miracle of the rejuvenation of her flesh had erased from her appearance the
grandmother she should have been because of her age.
There, in one of those Essene communities, allowed by the established
Jewish powers of the time, Elizabeth nurtured her son and lived to teach him
who his father was, how Zacharias, his father, was killed; how he, John, was
born, his father's dumbness and the necessity of his death. Elizabeth
cultivated her son's soul throughout his Infancy and Puberty in the Mystery of
the Annunciation of Jesus, who Joseph and Mary, his parents, were, why they had
to flee and why Zacharias imposed upon himself the duty of concealing his
Flight by offering himself as a victim of scandal. He, John, was "the
Voice of him that was to cry in the wilderness..."
The fact that she was a woman, and consequently could not be admitted as
a full member of the Essene community of the Dead Sea, kept the
"brotherhood" away from her son John, who, upon the death of his
mother, withdrew to the desert in preparation for his Hour, surviving on honey
and locusts.
Elizabeth would die at the time of Joseph, the time of Mary, when her
son was already fending for himself and there was no one in this world who could
subject him to more rules than those of his Birth.
The religious philosophy of the Essenes and the atmosphere of internal
fraternity meant a moral formation of tremendous power over the future Baptist,
especially since the origin of the Essenes was based on the impossibility of
living under a nation that, with the rise of the Hasmoneans, signed its
destruction by rebelling against the Law of the Crown, given by the Lord in
perpetuity to the sons of David.
This is the true origin of the
Essenes.
The Essenes refused to live under the sin of rebellion against the
Decree of the Lord committed by the sons of the Maccabees, and, when the defeat
of the Prodavidic Antiasmonean Movement was consummated, the defeated preferred poverty and isolation to living
under the law of the king who rebelled against God.
Throughout the Hasmonean Dynasty the Essenes lived in isolation and grew
through the constant trickle of subtle spirits into a quasi-troglodyte
Community, which, thanks to the faithful nurturing of relatives, was able to
survive the cause of its origin. Once the Hasmonean crown was abolished, 66
B.C., when Pompey entered and conquered the Middle East, the Essenes returned
to the Nation. But when Herod ascended to power, committing in his eyes the Nation
a crime infinitely more serious against the Lord God, because if before it was
a Jew the rebel, now it was a Palestinian the usurper, the Essenes returned to
their caves.
Whether peacefully or forced by Herod and his Jews is water from another
mill. The fact is that the Galilee went into rebellion against the house of
Herod since Antipater began to lean on Rome to elevate his house to the throne
that the Hasmoneans had left vacant. Herod himself, though young, took it upon
himself to annihilate this opposition to his family, and his triumph against
the rebellious Galileans would win him fame and glory in the eyes of his future
Roman godfathers.
It would be during this phase of humiliation of the Jews, dominated by a
non-Hebrew Antidavidic House, that the Essene
community of the Dead Sea desert became numerous. Herod, for his part, simply
ignored them. Those cavemen of the desert, on the shores of the Dead Sea, had
given themselves Peace and Brotherhood for gods and the more like them ... the
better for their dynasty. They did no harm to anyone and were revered as saints
by those who knew them .... the better for them ...
What better place than those Caves to hide a "child and his
mother" from the murderous hands of the Beast that would devour the
husband of Elizabeth "Zechariah's"?
John's words against the Jews of the Temple, continually calling them
vipers, are understood from this formation and upbringing that his mother
instilled in him. John knew who he was, and who the Messiah was, the ties that
bound their houses and their blood, he knew the name of the son of Mary, his
mother's grandniece, he knew the name of the Messiah, of the One who had been
born without knowing a man, as his mother had revealed it to him. What John did
not know was the face of Jesus. But this is another story.
